This year's GASTREET International Restaurant Show, taking place from June 3rd to 8th in Sochi at the Krasnaya Polyana Resort, will include presentations from more than 170 speakers across 7 parallel platforms. Participants will have the opportunity to hear lectures from top representatives from the Russian HoReCa segment, as well as international professionals.
One of the highlights of the event is the CHEFSTREET program, an educational platform for chefs. The program will feature a presentation by Gianmaria Sapia, the brand chef of the Mollusca restaurant group. Sapia is known for his restaurants Mollusca, II Matto, and Rouge, which have gained recognition both in Moscow and New York. He is not only a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience, but also the first brand chef to create a restaurant centered around a unique product - mussels.
The Institute of Gastronomy at SFU (Siberian Federal University) is responsible for curating the masterclasses by renowned chefs at the CHEFSTREET platform. The institute, the only branch of the legendary French institution LYFE EXECUTIVE EDUCATION in Russia, previously known as the Institut Paul Bocuse, will also introduce a new pastry direction at GASTREET 2024.
The ReBro platform, designed for investors and restaurant and hotel business owners, is curated by Anna Yanchevskaya, co-founder of the restaurants "Chikho" and "Okhotka," and Igor Prikhodko, founder of Share Bistro. The ambassadors are also partners and producers of the educational project Novikov Space, led by Arkady Novikov.
The HOTELSTREET platform, focusing on the hotel business, will be curated by Irina Orlandini Avrutskaia, founder of the international consulting company Like4Like and the trend-hunting agency GFT Agency. Avrutskaia, with over 18 years of experience in hospitality strategy and marketing, aims to provide a fresh perspective on the industry and inspire participants to seek unconventional solutions and explore future trends.
Renowned speakers will not only visit the educational platforms but also take the main stage at GASTREET. This year, Artemiy Lebedev, one of Russia's most famous designers and the founder of Lebedev Agency, will share the story of their 15-year journey in creating a network of cafes and restaurants. Alexander Tsypkin, a well-known Russian writer, journalist, and creator of the literary-theatrical project "BesprinTsipnye Chteniya," will also speak on the main stage.
GASTREET is offering a unique opportunity for 10 participants to experience the behind-the-scenes of the restaurant show. For the first time in the festival's history, 10 volunteer positions are available for purchase. More information can be found on the website under the "Paid Volunteering" button.
