The guest, Yoshihide Isogai, is a well-known figure in the Japanese vintage watch community. He built Shellman, a leading vintage watch dealership, and played a role in introducing independent watchmakers like Philippe Dufour to Japan. Isogai's first standout piece is the Patek Philippe ref. 3428, a rare successor to the famous ref. 2526. Its slim case and flawless enamel dial make it a collector's dream. Isogai also presents two remarkable watches created by the renowned independent watchmaker Svend Andersen. One is a minute repeater perpetual calendar, featuring a beautiful enamel dial. The other is the world's smallest calendar watch, a feat recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records in 1989.
In addition, Isogai reveals his own creations from Shellman, including the Grand Complication Classic and the World Time Minute Repeater with a cloisonné dial. Both watches display innovative designs and craftsmanship.
