Passenger trains in Moscow Metro came to a halt due to a technical malfunction. Emergency services initially reported the possibility of smoke in one of the train cars. However, authorities later denied this claim. Passengers in the affected train broke the windows in an attempt to escape. According to witnesses, there were sparks before the train stopped and smoke appeared. No injuries were reported.
